Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all treatments, holistic experiences and sessions provided by Garden Room Retreat. By making a booking or attending an appointment, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings and Payments: All appointments and experiences must be booked and paid for in full at the time of reservation. Payment confirms your booking and secures your treatment or session time. Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email or message once payment has been received. Gift vouchers or prepaid credits may be used toward bookings and are subject to the same terms.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, are non-refundable and non-transferable, as that time has been reserved exclusively for you. If you provide more than 48 hours’ notice, you may reschedule your appointment or request a full refund (minus any third-party processing fees, if applicable). Late arrival may shorten your treatment to avoid delaying the next client.

3. Treatments and Experiences: All treatments and holistic experiences, including sound baths and other relaxation sessions, are carried out by qualified practitioners with due care and attention. Clients must provide accurate information about their health, allergies, pregnancy or any medical conditions prior to treatment. Garden Room Retreat reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment where it may be unsuitable for health or safety reasons. While every effort is made to achieve beneficial results, individual responses to treatments can vary.

4. Use of Garden: The Garden Room Retreat is set within a garden and rural setting, which forms part of the wider environment in which the retreat is located. From time to time, guests may pass through or have limited access to external areas in connection with their visit. The garden and surrounding grounds include features typical of a natural outdoor setting, such as steps, pathways, decking, uneven surfaces and a pond area. Guests are asked to take care, wear suitable footwear where appropriate, and follow any safety guidance provided. Use of external areas is entirely at the guest’s own discretion and risk. Garden Room Retreat and its owner cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage sustained while on the premises or within the garden, except where such loss or injury arises directly from proven negligence. For safety reasons, access to external areas may be restricted or unavailable during poor weather or at certain times.

5. Animals on the Premises: Friendly dogs live at Garden Room Retreat. They are part of the home environment but are not present during treatments or client sessions. All treatment areas are kept clean and hygienic. If you have allergies or concerns, please inform us at the time of booking so suitable arrangements can be made.

6. Parking and Access: On-site parking is provided for clients’ convenience. Spaces are unallocated and used entirely at your own risk. Garden Room Retreat cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft, damage or injury that may occur to vehicles, their contents or individuals while using the parking area except where such loss or injury arises directly from proven negligence. Please take care when walking on gravel, steps and natural surfaces, particularly in wet or icy conditions.

7. CCTV and Security For the safety and security of guests and property, Garden Room Retreat operates CCTV cameras in outdoor and entrance areas. Footage is used solely for security and crime prevention. Images may be viewed only by authorised personnel and shared with law enforcement if required. CCTV is not used in any treatment or private areas. All recordings are managed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8. Liability While every reasonable effort is made to ensure safety and comfort, clients attend Garden Room Retreat and participate in all treatments and experiences at their own risk. Garden Room Retreat shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to personal property except where caused by proven negligence. Clients are advised to take appropriate care of their belongings and to inform the practitioner immediately of any discomfort or concern during treatments.

9. Privacy and Data Protection Personal information collected at the time of booking or consultation is held securely and used only for the purposes of providing treatments, client care and communication. Information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law. All client data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Changes to Services or Terms Garden Room Retreat reserves the right to amend, reschedule or withdraw any treatment, experience or service due to unforeseen circumstances such as practitioner illness, equipment maintenance or adverse weather. If we must cancel your appointment, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund. These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally, and any new version will take effect upon publication on our website.

11. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
