Many clients notice an immediate glow, while deeper results build over time as the skin renews and strengthens. Consistency brings the best outcomes.
If you arrive 5-10mins late , I’ll always do my best to provide your full treatment time whenever possible. However, to ensure the next guest is not delayed, your session may need to be shortened. If you are over 20 minutes late your treatment will have to be forfeited. The full treatment fee will still apply.
Yes, complimentary parking is available on our private driveway just steps from the retreat entrance.
The Garden Room Retreat is a calm, private sanctuary dedicated to your wellbeing. Nestled within a peaceful garden setting, it offers a space to pause, breathe and reconnect through holistic and advanced treatments designed to nurture body, mind and spirit.
The retreat is tucked away in a quiet corner of the West Pennine Moors in Tockholes. Full address details and map can be found on the Contact us section of our homepage.
Due to Garden Room Retreat being an old property, it is unsuitable for wheelchair access. There is one small step into the retreat and there is a gravel driveway and parking area.
For safety and peace of mind, discreet CCTV operates around the property exterior and driveway, but never inside the retreat itself.
To ensure every guest enjoys privacy and tranquillity, visits are by appointment only. This helps maintain the calm, unhurried atmosphere that makes the Garden Room Retreat so special.
You can book your treatment quickly and easily through our online booking system or by contacting me directly. I’ll always confirm your appointment personally to ensure everything is tailored perfectly to you.
Payment can be made by card or Paypal at the time of booking online. Cash can be accepted in person at the time of treatment. Gift vouchers are also welcome and can be used towards any treatment.
No, payments are made in full at the time of booking.
Absolutely. Many guests love to combine treatments to create their own bespoke retreat experience. Simply add another treatment at the time of booking online from the booking page.
Appointments do tend to fill up quickly, particularly for evenings and weekends, so booking ahead is always recommended. However, I’ll always do my best to accommodate you if you’d like something sooner — it’s always worth asking.
Yes. A selection of carefully designed treatment courses and packages are available to support you on your wellbeing journey. Courses offer the best value and ensure you experience the full benefit of regular treatments.
Life happens, and sometimes plans need to change — I completely understand. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows your reserved time to be offered to another guest who may be waiting. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non refundable and non transferable.
If you’re feeling unwell or something unexpected arises, please let me know as soon as possible. Your wellbeing comes first, and I’ll always do what I can to rearrange your appointment for a more suitable time. Please try and give at least 48 hours notice.
In the rare event that I need to reschedule your appointment, I’ll contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative date and time that suits you. Your comfort and convenience are always my top priority, and I’ll ensure the change causes minimal disruption.
Gift vouchers can be purchased directly from the retreat or ordered online. Each one is beautifully presented and can be sent either by post or email, making it the perfect thoughtful gift for someone special.

Comfortable clothing is best. Robes and towels are provided where needed to ensure you feel relaxed and at ease throughout your treatment.
All treatments take place in the calm, private garden room. In warmer months, certain relaxation therapies may be undertaken in the surrounding garden, allowing nature to enhance your experience. If the weather is poor on the day of your treatment, treatments are carried out indoors in the cosy, heated retreat, so your comfort is never affected by the weather.
Yes, each appointment allows time for you to settle in and gently come back to yourself afterwards — there’s never any rush.
Yes. Appointments are taken one guest at a time, ensuring complete privacy and tranquillity during your visit.
To preserve the sense of peace and presence, phones are best switched off while you’re here.
My friendly dogs may occasionally be seen in the distance but are kept away from the retreat during all appointments to maintain a peaceful space.
